For this video segment I decided to showcase my users (students) classwork and researching skills thus far in my problem of practice. My problem of practice focuses on a Project-Based Learning Activity where students are researching the water crisis in a Spanish speaking country and developing a solution to help solve the problem. Students will be presenting their findings to another classroom of students and also be voting on a fundraiser we can partake as a group to help fund one of the solutions in a country. Various brainstorming, interviews, and discussions took place with students and teachers in the empathize, define, ideate, and prototype modes to develop this PBL opportunity. The ultimate goal of my problem of practice is to motivate students about real-world projects and how they can make an impact on their community. My test mode is made up of multiple smaller units, which build upon each other and scaffold students learning to give them the tools and information necessary to research, create a presentation, and present their project. This specific video focuses on the first two units of students learning, from designing their own water cycle to the beginning stages of researching websites, games, and videos where they could acquire information for their presentation.
